This one is difficult to write. ❤️
We thought we had one more week.
We thought we’d have a few more days to serve your favorites, see familiar faces walk through our doors, share a few more laughs, and say “see you soon” before closing our 28th Street location on September 12th.
Unfortunately, we unexpectedly had to close our doors earlier than planned, and for that, we are deeply sorry.
To everyone who planned to visit us one last time — please know how much we wish we could have had that moment with you.
Bova’s has always been about more than food. It’s about family, community, friendships, and the people who have supported us year after year. You are the reason Bova’s is what it is today.
This chapter may have ended sooner than we planned, but Bova’s isn’t going anywhere. A new chapter is waiting for us on the Hill, and someday, we’ll be back at 28th Street too.
