The Fourth edition in our Reserve Series is an ultra-limited 110lb lot of Sidra from Libano, Tolima. This coffee was such a standout from our recent purchasing trip to Colombia that we air freighted it to our roastery to share it with you as soon as possible. In this jammy and rich but refined cup, expect deeply sweet and ripe concord grape, tart red plum, and an orange marmalade background. This Reserve lot is not the one to miss out on!

A few things happening this month that we had to share!

Halloween Latte Art Throwdown, Oct 29th!

Haven't been to a throwdown? It's a blast!
Baristas compete to pour the best latte art in a bracket style, single-elimination, head-to-head tournament judged by industry pros! There will be music, scary movies, a triangulation station, and some very cool raffle prizes with proceeds going to the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition. Temaki Tornado food truck will be out front (Boxcar's favorite food truck)! And in the spirit of the season we will also be having a halloween costume contest!

Ethiopia - Layo Teraga
While perfectly clean with no ferment or process flavors, this coffee from the Layo Teraga Coffee Producers Cooperative falls firmly in the “fruit bomb” category for us. Expect dense, sugary sweetness, fruit punch, stone fruit and citrus all around with a clear and crisp finish.

Kenya - Carson Estate
Single-estate traceability and natural-processing are both uncommon in Kenya, so when we were offered just 90kg of this super clean SL-28 + 34 lot from Carson Estate, we had to jump on it. Subtly earthy rooibos tea pairs perfectly with mouthwatering lemon curd and ripe raspberry, making for a sweet and complex sipper as we head into fall.

El Salvador - Finca Himalaya Pacamara Natural
The good news: This naturally-processed Pacamara lot is outstanding! The cup is explosive with high acidity, a dense syrupy body, and undeniable citrus and tropical fruit flavors. The bad news: This will be our final release from El Salvador in 2026, so make sure you get some before it’s gone.
