“I kind of view art as magic. For me, personally, [it’s] the most fundamental proof that magic exists because I can have this idea in my head that no one else can see. It’s in the complete void, and I can take that and transmute it into something that’s physical, that then other people can then experience what I was seeing, but also have their own unique experience through whatever subject that I used to convey my original idea. […] Someone else can have a full experience that’s completely different from what yours was. And that just seems like magic to me.”
