Mad Dog Jakes We offer Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream, Vienna Beef Chicago Style Hot Dogs, and many more delicious items! Hoodies, T-shirts, Hats, and Stickers available too!

Mad Dog Jake's is a hot dog stand / ice cream shop located in Boulder Junction, WI. We sell Chocolate Shoppe Super-Premium Ice Cream which is made in Madison, WI. We also offer Vienna Beef Dogs, Chicago Style Dogs, excellent burgers, smoothies, and much more! Stop in and see Patrick & Mimi and enjoy some amazing food! We open the first week in May and close around the second weekend in October. We post our exact hours in our front window. Another summer of Mad Dog Jakes is in the books and has officially concluded. We would like to thank our patrons, our employees, our suppliers, and every single person who said "I'll take a small" and then ordered an extra scoop! You made this a great summer. We are at long last going to sleep, and we won't wake up until next May. See you then!

Sorry for the misunderstanding this week, turns out "open Saturday" reads a lot like "open until Saturday" and I should've been clearer. If you showed up Thursday or Friday to a dark shop, my apologies.

But this is it! Today is the last day, then we're closed until next May. Here's the deal: if you all come at once and buy a lot of ice cream, we can close early and I can go take a nap. Nobody has to know. Well, everyone will know, because we'll post about it. But still... Help us out!

Saturday is it. The last day of the season. One final hoorah!

We've got 15 flavors left in the case, let us close out the year properly by selling them all out! Come get a scoop, get a pint, get a cone, or just get something to hold you over until we open back up next year.

After Saturday, the case goes dark, the doors close, and we all have to figure out how to survive a Wisconsin winter without ice cream nearby.

Surprise, I'm open today! Today is your last day to get french fries and whatever else the fryer can cook for ya! We'll be closed Monday. And Tuesday we reopen for the final stretch and whatever's left in the case is what we've got, once it's gone that's the season. If you can't make it today, start making your Tuesday plans accordingly.

The last hot dog has left the building. Oh geez! What a perfect opportunity to remind you that I still have some Fat Elvis left too, except I did that yesterday. While the grill is officially closed for the year, Butter Pecan is still holding court in the case. It doesn't need a grill. It doesn't need a bun. It doesn't need a farewell speech. It just quietly wins, the way it always has. Butter Pecan is exactly the flavor for a season winding down with dignity.

In related news, Fat Elvis is still in the case. Banana ice cream, salty peanut butter swirl, chocolate chunks: Elvis's favorite sandwich in scoop form. The King famously ate whatever he wanted whenever he wanted, and we're pretty sure that included both a hot dog off a Wisconsin grill AND a scoop of ice cream that was named after him. But if you don't get a hot dog, you can still get a sandwich. Sort of. Come on in and honor his legacy!
