We offer 25 hard scoop flavors of Cedar Crest Ice cream that is made in Cedarburg, WI! We also offer sorbet, slushies, and popsicles, as well as a no fat no sugar option! Good afternoon shanty family! Just a heads up that our chocolate soft serve is down after a very busy holiday weekend! Unfortunately, it decided to go on strike, but vanilla is still standing strong.

That means no chcoolate or twist soft serve at the moment, just vanilla!

The repair man will be here Friday morning, so send some good vibes our way!

Happy Father’s Day to all the Cool Pops out there, especially our very own Ron Reinowski! It was one of Ron’s childhood dreams to own a Chicago hot dog stand! But he’s taken it a step further and brought us all along for this wild ride! Now, many people know his face and he treats every customer like his own family! We’re thankful every single day for his crazy dream and the adventure it’s taken us on! Don’t forget to thank your father for being the sweet treat he is and for always taking you on life’s most worthwhile adventures!

Bring the whole family to play a round as dads golf free today and then top it off with some dessert afterwards with a free small soft serve cone for dad! If golf isn’t in the cards today, still stop by for a free sweet treat! ⛳️🍦

Recently, one of our customers was gracious enough to donate the original Ice Shanty billboard that sat on the edge of town and greeted visitors to Boulder Junction nearly a half a century ago. Seeing daylight for the first time in decades, it is now on permanent display on our mini-golf course, greeting players of all ages, and will do so for years to come.

While installing the sign, it made us reflect on what the Ice Shanty has come to mean to the community. Beyond great food and ice cream treats, we are powered by the community’s youth, often times giving them their first chance of employment and the opportunity to learn that hard work does pay off. Each year, we donate thousands of dollars to help sponsor countless community events and fundraisers that keep Boulder Junction visitors coming back for more. We are open daily throughout the summer and promise to work our tails off to make sure your visit to the area is a memorable one.

Around for over a half a century, when you count our previous names, we are setting our sights on the next fifty years and beyond. Our roots are firmly planted in Boulder Junction, and we’re proud to say that while some ice shanties are portable, this one is permanent!
