Starting this Saturday, January 15th, The City of Boston is requiring that all indoor dining customers present proof of their COVIC vaccination. It is not required to pick up take out ("for a quick or limited purpose") as long as a mask is worn while indoors

Here are the City guidelines:
PROOF OF VACCINATION
You will need to show that you are vaccinated against COVID-19. That verification can be done with:

a CDC vaccination card
a digital image of your CDC card
an image of any official immunization record, or
a City of Boston app or any other COVID vaccine verification app.

Saturday, January 15
People age 12+ must show proof of one dose of vaccine
Tuesday, February 15
People age 12+ must show proof of full vaccination
Tuesday, March 1
Children age 5-11 must show proof of one dose of vaccine

Sylvain, our General Manager, is leaving us to help open a new restaurant on the South Shore. This is something of a homecoming for him, as the new restaurant, Osteria Vivo, is owned by his friend Jimmy Burke, whom he worked with for 15 years before joining The Elephant Walk.

Sylvain managed with us at the Beacon Street Elephant Walk, played an important role in opening this restaurant in 2014, and is a familiar and popular presence for our regulars.

Having worked with Sylvain for the last 10 years, I will miss him sorely, but am excited by his taking on a new challenge!

We all wish him the best and offer him our support in his new venture.

The State and the City of Boston have removed the Covid-19 restrictions for restaurants beginning this Saturday.

We are pleased to say that our entire staff is fully vaccinated.

Vaccinated guests are not required to wear face coverings while dining with us. However, we ask that unvaccinated guests continue to wear masks and socially distance when not seated. Our dining room will continue to maintain the more separated layout we have used during Covid
