To our loyal customers,
After much time and consideration, my team and I have decided to take a 2 month break from bagel production. Starting August 28th, we will cease all Saturday and Sunday sales out of Little Dipper.
Starting a business is both fun and exciting, but at times it can be equally stressful and anxiety inducing. (For those that have started their own business, I’m sure you know the feeling). While there’s nothing I love more than baking bagels, I have found the stress of growing my business at such a rapid rate, at times, strenuous on my mental health. I’m so proud of how much Be Okay Bagels has grown in such a short time, but that rapid growth has caused me to make quick decisions that I personally need more time to evaluate. The industry-wide labor shortage is the final push that has brought me to the conclusion to step back for a period of time. While we are stepping away, I truly believe that this is the best thing I can do for the future of my business, and this time will allow me to process and figure out how to approach the next chapter of my business in the best way possible.
During this time, we still will be working hard to figure out the behind the scenes aspects of our operation (yes this does mean hopefully finding a storefront!!). We look forward to the day when we can serve all of your bagels needs again and are sad we can’t continue to do so while figuring out the future. Where or when exactly we will return is unsure at this moment, but we look forward to day when we can again hand you a bag of freshly baked bagels.
Until then we still are selling bagels both this weekend and next, so come say hello and stock up while you can!
