Udder Brothers’ Creamery and Hi-Grove Holsteins were developed by Jason and Justin Sparrgrove and their families. The Sparrgove brothers first started milking on the farm of Dean and Joyce Roth just north of Boscobel, WI. They milked there for 1 ½ years. After the first 1 ½ years, the brothers purchased their current farm near Woodman, WI. The brothers are currently milking 130 cows. In the winter

of 2016, Jason and Justin began brainstorming the idea to diversify their operation. Due to the lack of land availability, the brothers were unable to expand their Hi-Grove Holsteins operation; this is when the brothers began to explore other options. After meeting with several local producers, the brothers decided that opening a creamery in Boscobel was their best option at this time. They purchased the current location of Udder Brothers’ Creamery in March of 2017. After only 1 ½ short months and several long nights, Jason and Justin and their families opened Udder Brothers’ Creamery on May 5, 2017. Udder Brothers’ Creamery strives to serve local, fresh products to support the hard work and efforts of local farmers and food producers.
