Hello Facebook Family & Friends -

It’s official! Yes, it was on, it was off, and then it was on again only a few short weeks ago.

To our awesome Dock Crew - we hope you know you were the best in the Harbor! We were always grateful so many of you returned season after season & year after year...through high school, college, starting families, moving away & coming back home again or patiently waiting for winter to be over so we could prepare for another busy season.

And to our loyal J1-Visa students from Bulgaria, Belarus, Slovakia, Russia, and several other foreign lands - you became family when you stepped off the bus in Wiscassset! Thank you for staying in touch throughout the years! We hope to visit as many of you as possible when we start our travels abroad.

We also had the best customers ever & we look forward to seeing you summer after summer when you continue visiting our beautiful region. We plan to stay in the area & will actually have time now to sit down and chat!

Thank you all for the past 18 years! We are excited to begin our next adventure!

Hello to all our Facebook Family & Friends -

The Lobster Dock will put up the closed sign for the final time after dinner on Saturday, September 30th.

We would like to thank you for your patronage and friendship over the past 18 Seasons and to formally let you know we have accepted an offer to sell our property in early 2018. Many of you heard the rumors & we are now able to confirm it is reality; this will be our last year owning & operating the property. Our original ten year plan quickly led to 11, then 12, 13… & before we knew it 17 years flew by.

With far too many people to personally thank here on Facebook, we would like to say this: to all our current & former “DockCrew”, our dedicated vendors including all the wonderful sales reps & delivery personnel, to every customer who tried us once, twice, three times or countless times, our peers and our generous community, friends who traveled from states away to visit us, and our family - Thank you! We could not have done it without you! We will truly miss you all!

We will be staying in the area & look forward to seeing you around town for many summers to come. We’ll be the couple pretending to be tourists relaxing on some deck watching the sunset over this beautiful harbor we call home!

Welcome back for the 25th Season of The Lobster Dock (Mitch & Dawn's 18th). 🎉🍾

We had a great start to season even with the rain! It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces and we are looking forward to seeing you all again, to meeting new visitors & making new friends.

Well the season is winding down here at The Dock. We will be closing after lunch on Monday Columbus Day. Today's specials are Lobster Mac'n Cheese - Smoked Gouda, Aged Extra Sharp Cheddar and Asiago. Last round of Pastrami is selling fast as is house brined corned beef. These are the last 2 nights of our slow roasted apple wood smoked Prime Rib - Fri & Sat. Also the last chance you'll get to see Snowy & Peter and probably Max too here at The Dock.

From scratch brisket into Pastrami. Butchering into Point cut for Corned Beef and Flat cut for Pastrami. House brined for 7 days, then cured, smoked and finished with steam. Served on NY Rye with NY half sour pickle and our potato salad. While it lasts!

Another season has come & gone here at The Lobster Dock! It was great to see our summer friends, make new ones & enjoy beautiful sunsets over the harbor.
