✨ Introducing the Sea Friends Collection! ✨

Many of our younger guests have heard me tell the story about "My Day at the Beach" which ends with the kids picking a treasure from our treasure chest, during their visit to Kelly's Café.

What started as a simple story shared with children at the café grew into something much bigger - a series of children's books inspired by Boothbay Harbor, the Maine coast, and the friendships that make our community so special.

Today, I'm excited to officially introduce the Sea Friends Collection!

From Alexandria the Mermaid to Bob the Dolphin, Sammie the Shark, Jack the Puffin, and all of the Sea Friends, these stories are filled with adventure, friendship, kindness, teamwork, and a little bit of Maine magic.

I mentioned to Dan this morning that I was going to make Paleo (gluten, grain, dairy, refined sugar free) Chocolate Banana Muffins. He said, “Why not Banana Foster Muffins?” - well let me tell you why not, Mr. Dan… that seemed a lot more complicated! 🤣. The result? These Paleo Banana Foster Muffins have a warm banana flavor, cinnamon, crunchy Streusel deliciousness about them! Stop by this weekend and give one a try!

🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day Weekend 🇺🇸

What an amazing weekend at Kelly’s Café! Thank you to everyone who stopped in, waited patiently during the busy rushes, shared kind words with our staff, and supported our little café. We are incredibly grateful for this community and all of our visitors. ❤️

We will be CLOSED tomorrow so our hardworking team can enjoy the holiday with their families and recharge a bit after a busy few days.

Guess who’s back behind the counter this weekend? 👀

So many of you probably remember my son Dante from seasons past at Kelly’s Café. He’s a structural engineer… but I’m still working hard to convince him to quit his “real job” and come work at the cafe full time!! 🤣

If you see him this weekend, make sure to say hi (and maybe help me recruit him back permanently 😉).
