This may seem like an odd item for a tea & gift shop, however, I was in a cute little resort town several years ago, and they carried it at a kitchen & houseware shop. I tried it, and I was obsessed. So when I had the opportunity to purchase it wholesale, I jumped on it.

Lucky Cat - You’ve seen them in Asian restaurants, but did you know that the design is based on the traditional Japanese Maneki-Neko (Beckoning Cat) a popular figure symbolizing good fortune, wealth and happiness. If the right paw is raised, it is said to attract Wealth and Personal Fortune. Red attracts Love, Good Fortune and Health. Personally, I think they are just fun and cute, but who couldn’t use a little extra help 😁.

It is a wonderful opportunity to recognize someone who works hard to support, encourage, and care for students throughout the school year.
