Taste Grill We're a Chinese/Japanese cuisine restaurant in Boone, NC. Hi, my name is Andy and I am the owner of Taste Grill.

Back in 2009, when I briefly stayed in Boone, I noticed that the sushi offered in Boone were either over priced or they were low in quality which was a disappointment since it's one of my favorite foods. After a failure to find fresh quality sushi without making me broke to eat it, that's when I got the idea of opening a restaurant in Boone. But since my specialty was Chinese food, I previously ow

ned Chinese restaurants in Maine and in North Carolina, I thought why not combine the best of both world. It took years of preparations and learning from relatives and friends, that I finally opened up Taste Grill! As for the name "Taste Grill", well, I want you to come and taste our grill and hopefully you'll enjoyed so much that you'll be a regular. Thank you for your support and I hope that you will enjoy our food and our services!

We are devastated to see all the greif and destruction that our community has endured. We want to help in the best way we can. We will be offering our Hibachi Chicken or Hibachi vegetable take out special for $5 plus tax for a limited time. Unfortunately no substitutions will be allowed.

Our holiday hours will be as followed:

Christmas Eve: 11:00am - 9:30pm
Christmas Day: 11:00am - 9:30pm(All day dinner menu only)
New Years Eve: 11:00am - 10:30pm
New Year’s Day: 12:00pm - 10:30pm

Due staffing limitations during the holidays, please expect longer than usual wait times for both dine-in and takeouts. Thank you and happy holidays!

We will be doing both dine in and takeout. Due to limited seating, we may not be able to take reservations for dine-in. The wait for takeout may be a little longer on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
