Below is a note from our son’s girlfriend, Brittany Benton. We’re truly touched by the outpouring of support so far — thank you to everyone who has kept Liam in their thoughts as he continues his recovery.

“Some of you may have heard about Liam (head chef of Sunrise Grill) being hospitalized for a week around the beginning of August for endocarditis and pneumonia. The doctor mandated at least 6 weeks off work to recover; he hopes to return to work in a couple weeks. He’s making slow but steady progress — just tires easily and is still a little out of it. He’s been overwhelmed with gratitude from folks who have sent him cards and added him to prayer lists.

Some of you have asked about a GoFundMe; you may find the link below if you feel led to donate. All donations go toward his hospital bills. Of course, your kind words and prayers also mean the world to us, so please continue keeping him in your thoughts. If you’d be so kind to share this post to expand its reach, I’d greatly appreciate it! Thank you for caring so much about him and his recovery, it means more to him than you know.
