Hi friends! 👋 It’s Chloe here (the Misty Mountain Pizza owner’s daughter!).
As many of you know, I’ve been living in beautiful Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, teaching English to some incredibly sweet grade-school kiddos. 📚✏️ While it’s been an amazing experience, my heart has also been heavy seeing how much some of their families are truly struggling just to put food on the table. 💔
The good news? A little kindness goes a long way here! ❤️ With our recent fundraiser, we raised nearly $500—enough to feed 31 families for a whole week! 🧺🇩🇴 Seeing that impact was so heartwarming, and it made me want to keep going.
So now, we’re starting ROUND TWO! 🥊🔄
I’ve done all I can locally, so I’m reaching out for a little hometown love from Bonners Ferry to help these amazing people. 🌲❤️🙏
Here is the lowdown on the mission:
🎯 The Mission: We are raising money to buy and personally deliver groceries to the families who need it most.
🗓️ The Deadline: The fundraiser is running from now until April 18th.
💰 The Impact: 100% of every penny raised goes directly to purchasing food. No overhead, just groceries for hungry families.
