PHEW! The boil water advisory has officially been lifted! 🎉

We were happy to play it safe rather than sorry, and we’re so thankful everything is back to normal.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came in and supported us during the advisory. Your patience and support mean so much to our small business and our team.

To make sure we could continue serving you safely, we stocked up on bottled water for all of our food and beverage preparation. Since we have a bunch left over, we’ll be donating the remaining bottled water to our local food bank so it can help families in our community. ❤️

Good evening, Badgers Den family!

We wanted to let everyone know that The Badgers Den will be OPEN tomorrow despite the city-wide boil water advisory.

We’ve taken extra precautions to make sure we can continue serving you safely:
• ✅ Completely emptied and sanitized all of our ice bins and stocked them with new bagged ice
• ✅ Purchased bottled water for our food and beverage preparation where needed
• ✅ Following all recommended food safety guidelines

Our full breakfast and lunch menu will be available as usual.

The only change is that some of our espresso and latte drinks will not be available until the boil water advisory is lifted. We appreciate your understanding as we put safety first.

Thank you for your patience and continued support. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

We are incredibly honored to have received this Certificate of Appreciation from the Northern Rockies Incident Management Team. While we’re grateful for the recognition, this really belongs to the amazing community of Bonners Ferry.

Because of your generosity, over $1,700 was donated to pay for breakfasts for the firefighters who came to help protect our homes, businesses, and community during the Upper Smith and Turner Fires. We were happy to discount the meals so your donations could go even further.

One thing we want everyone to know is that every firefighter who came through our doors was humble, respectful, and genuinely thankful. We made sure each of them knew that their meal wasn’t from The Badger’s Den, it was paid for by the incredible people of Bonners Ferry.

To everyone who donated, thank you for showing what our small town is all about. And to the firefighters and all first responders who worked tirelessly to protect our community, thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and dedication. It was truly an honor to serve you.

I’ll never forget when Jane walked in and asked, “Are you hiring?” Without hesitation, our answer was, “You HAVE to work here!” 🤍 Her energy, enthusiasm, and smile were contagious, and we knew from day one she’d be an incredible addition to the Badger’s Den crew. 🦡

Today was Jane’s last day with us. She’ll be missed by so many, but we’re cheering her on as she starts this next chapter. Once a part of the Badger’s Den family, always a part of the Badger’s Den family. We will miss you Jane! ❤️

Well, today was another one for the books. ☕️

With the power out across much of Bonners Ferry, we had folks stopping in from all over. Our neighbors here in town, people passing through, and even friends from Montana looking for a hot meal and a cup of coffee.

We’re so thankful for each and every one of you who came through our doors today. Small towns have a way of showing up for each other, and we felt that all day long.

We’re especially grateful for our crew. When the unexpected happens, they just get to work. No complaining, no panic, just good people taking care of other good people. We couldn’t ask for a better team.

Days like today remind us how lucky we are to be part of this community. Thank you for letting us be a place to grab breakfast, share a meal, wake up with a coffee, and connect with friends.

We sure do appreciate you, Bonners Ferry. ❤️
