It’s more than the juice. It’s about quenching children’s thirst…thirst for knowledge, guidance, a way to ask for help. Quenching the thirst for acceptance, things to do, wanting to be seen, and yea, staying hydrated. Every kid who comes to my pop up or to my shop says they want to work for me lol I want them to work for themselves. I want the kids to work the juice bar, not me. I want to partner with entrepreneurs and programs that teach what they don’t teach in school. When kids find things and can do things they are passionate about it gives them a voice. We’ve all at times felt like we’ve been silenced and it’s not a good feeling. I’m trying to let my voice be heard so that others know that it’s OK. Whether I’m selling juice or performing music , I try to be the example that I never had. The father figure I never had. I show up. I do my best. And I repeat.
