Juneteenth in Boley Oklahoma was a success! We laughed, we ate, we danced, we fellowshipped, and the kids had a blast!!!! So grateful to Elizabeth Williamson Mayor Gregory L Hicks and Renee Esters for helping us cook and serve🥰, to Carlos & Angela Morehead Tillman for partnering with us and spearheading the kids experience😘 they also made the chicken🤤, our kids Illianna Hicks Reanna Esters and Justice Howard for serving our elders and literally everything else we asked them to do🥹, and Marnell Thornton for helping set up and break down 💪.
To our donors Karen Ekuban , Dezmon Little-Boley Overstreet , Herma Dawn Hargis , Sandra Renee Parker , Kevin L. Matthews , Johnny Magness , Jacqueline & Tarrance Floyd , Full Gospel Baptist Church, LaGatha Jenkins , Amanda Bradford , and all the cash donors on site, we appreciate you SO MUCH!!!!! You all are the reason we were able to give everyone there a plate of food with a drink and a place to sit and eat it. Elizabeth Williamson said when she was getting towards the end of the fish it seemed to be multiplying 😂 won't he do it!!!!
Lastly, thanks to everyone who came out and celebrated with us, we enjoyed your company 🥰😘

Come join us for a light celebration at the Boley Rodeo Grounds Pavilion Area. Bring your canopies and chairs and enjoy some good music with us. Reminisce with friends over a game of dominoes, enjoy some free catfish and fries, dance to your favorite songs, watch the kids play, and fellowship. Mrs. Angela Morehead Tillman and her husband Mr. Carlos will be partnering with us and they are also curating the kids entertainment. Special thanks to Jacqueline D. Over $300 was hunted this Easter Sunday😲🤑 Everyone enjoyed themselves because of the enormous work put in by Wendy K. Gunns!!! Carlos & Angela Morehead Tillman worked their tails off hiding hundreds of eggs over acres of land. Special thanks to Marie Tryon Grubbs for all the help she always gives. Thanks to Thelma Tomlin Hunter for helping us coordinate parking and wrangling the kids. And lastly, Thanks to all that donated 😘!!!!!!
Each child left that rodeo grounds with eggs, candy, money, and smiles on their faces🥰.
