It’s almost time for October baseball!

The time when we start caring about a sport we’ve ignored for the past 10.5 months. We care for a sense of nostalgia, for the enjoyment of seeing an occasional fat man be a highly paid pro athlete, and for games when we can no longer watch and say the outcome doesn’t matter.

We don’t really have a team, but as a b**r bar, we always wanna root for a team called “The Brewers” and are happy they have a guaranteed playoff spot!

As we head towards October baseball, leave a comment about what team you’re rooting for right now.

And Seattle fans, we’re sorry, this doesn’t look to be your year, but we have had great crowds for some Seattle playoff games in the past!

Grab your favorite heather and make some cool-aid, because our theme is Cult Movie Classics this week. That’s right. You’re favorite movies, that you think nobody else saw, but in reality lots of people saw those movies but just didn’t like them the way you did.

What is a cult movie? A movie that didn’t find mainstream success at first, but then found an audience later. Sometimes it’s a movie with themes that are considered too “Mature” for general audiences.

It’s gonna be fun, as always, remember to arrive early to get a seat and order food before the kitchen gets too backed up.

What is the word that always makes you smile? You say it when taking photos. Yeah, it’s cheese. That’s this week’s trivia theme. The suggestion of “90’s Daytime Talk Shows” got rejected.

Who doesn’t love cheese? Everybody. Even Lactose Intolerant people love cheese. Cheese just doesn’t love them back, it’s kind of an abusive relationship. We know it’s bad for us, but the heart wants what it wants.

As always, trivia starts at 6:30, but it’s always good to arrive early to get a table secured and get a food order in.

And remember, Wednesday is our w**e special, spend $25 of food and get half off any bottle of w**e. I recommend the combo of a pepperoni pizza and a slice of cheesecake.
