On the off chance that you see me slow down a bit, this is why.
3 ish weeks ago Travis came home from work to take me to the chiropractor because I thought I overdid it with the chainsaw (I cut down 5 trees, it was fun, no regrets). I couldn’t move. My beck and neck and shoulders were essentially stuck, like seized up. I felt panicked, was sweating and super nauseous. Had a tightness in my chest, thought it was from panicking.
Went to the chiropractor, for three days strait. Ended up at the dr, hooked up to an EKG and getting labs drawn to be told that the trees did not, in fact do me in and it was an NSTEMI heart attack.
Guys, apparently women present in weird, different ways and we can go on about our business of doing things we have no business doing. Girl power, I guess?
Things have changed a bit around here. I have a cardiologist, heart monitor, echocardiogram, more fricken labs, stress tests, etc. But also, I’m tired. I’m moving slower, can’t do as much as fast as I could. We’re still doing our events, with the help of my mom and Travis or whoever helps that day. We’re getting a new flow. Learning and figuring it out.
Obviously I’ve never been great at running the insta page (oops) but maybe I’ll be better now? 🤣 don’t hold your breath! So m for the next few weeks at least, be patient with us as we@figure it all out!
And thank you Travis and Mom for taking the reins and killing it- minus the mess.
