We uncovered some cool local history this week! Our future location at 303 N Orchard was originally built in 1970 as a Keystone pizza similar to the one in the photo below (that photo is actually of the Keystone Pizza that was on State St.). This week, in preparation for our new facade, we found that much of the original front of the building was preserved. How cool!

Aside from Keystone Pizza, what other restaurants do you remember being in this location? 🍕 🍣 🥡

And we know you’re all wondering the same thing we are —- when are we moving? Our goal is between Thanksgiving and Christmas but we are at the mercy of a construction timeline right now! Stay tuned 🚧

We will be closed Wednesday (7/15) through Wednesday (7/22). We're beating the heat ☀️ and heading out of town for a much-needed vacation! Our crew is scattering and headed to Montana, Oregon, Wyoming, New York, and some are staying right here. We'll see all of you hungry folks on the 23rd when we reopen! Don't starve without us 😉

✅ Yes, it will be slightly bigger. A few more tables, more counter seating, a larger patio.
📦 Yes, we are ✨ moving ✨. Unless you can clone our whole crew, then we may consider having 2 locations.
✅ If you have been to visit us lately, you know how busy it has been. We need more kitchen space, good signage, decent parking, and our very own building! It will nice to own our own place with a similar cozy vibe.
✅ Yes, we are nervous/sad/grieving/happy/excited/jumping for joy. All of the things! We are confident that our long-time regulars will follow us. It is only 1.5 miles away, still very much in the heart of The Bench.

If there’s one thing you should know about us, it is that aside from serving up great breakfast & lunch, our other calling is helping rescue animals and supporting the folks that help them.

This weekend, Sarah & Jeff transported 14 dogs and 14 puppies from Texas to the Pacific Northwest! On their way through Boise we offered them a free meal to help fuel their spirits on the way back to Georgia. 🐾 It was so great to meet kindred spirits and help support them in small way! Go check out their page and support their cause if you feel compelled 🐶 🐱 🐶 🐱

This morning we felt like celebrities!! Huge thank you to The Chef's Hut Restaurant in Boise ID for an amazing breakfast!
