Good Morning! Sri here. It's been a couple of months since closing the shop and I wanted to say how much I miss all of you. I think that has been the hardest part. 💔 It has been an adjustment for sure.
Some of you wanted to hear what we have been up to, and I can only speak for myself at the moment. I have some fun news. I have an art show coming up in December. 🥰 This is what I have been working on. It was so hard to say goodbye to Alia's and all of you, so I started pouring my energy into art. Some of you know that I have been doing it for awhile, but I feel like this show is something I am really proud of. I would absolutely LOVE to see you all there. If you are just wanting to look at
some artwork, buy something, or just come and say hello, it would mean the world to me.
The show will be in the Alaska Building on December 4th for First Thursday. It will be in Chi E Shenam Westin's studio. He is an incredible oil painter, and I am so thankful and honored he invited me to do a show with him. ❤️
I will put out a reminder for all of those who are interested. Again, I would love to see some familiar faces and get to catch up a bit. ❤️

Tomorrow is our last day. 🥺 All kinds of emotions. We are feeling so much love from our community. ❤️❤️❤️ John came in and made more biscuits and gravy and some sweet treats since we had run out today. We wanted to give a last hurrah and hopefully make sure our customers are getting one last of their favorites. See you tomorrow... ❤️

John's famous Buttermilk biscuits with sausage, fennel, and thyme gravy
And
Bagel dogs
We will be offering both for our last two Friday's, Saturday's, and Sunday's.

Good morning! We are no longer going to be selling bagels by the dozen unless ordered at least a day ahead. During this last week and a half, we want to be able to serve as many people who make the trip to come and see us before we sell out. It is with profound sadness and deep gratitude that we regret to announce our closure at the end of this month. My business partner, Donnie, has been experiencing severe health issues over the past couple of years, limiting his presence at the shop. Unfortunately, John, our pastry chef, who has been instrumental in running Alia's alongside me, is also facing serious health concerns. We have made the difficult decision to close, allowing our team members to focus on their well-being. It has been an honor to serve this beautiful community. We appreciate having been a part of your lives, and you have been an integral part of ours. Thank you for an incredible 18-year journey. If you have been meaning to visit, now is the perfect opportunity. Come enjoy a cup of coffee, your favorite quiche, or bagels and bid us farewell; we would love to see you. ❤️
