❤️Happy Birthday to our dear Elena on September 4th!❤️
Some people come into your life as employees, and with time, they become so much more — they become part of your family. Elena is one of those people for me.
Elena joined Alyonka in February of 2024, coming to us from the beautiful Kabardino-Balkariya region. From the very beginning, I saw in her such a sweet, gentle and loving heart, but also an incredible strength and work ethic.
There is so much that happens at Alyonka when nobody is watching. On the day our doors are closed and the restaurant is quiet, Elena is still there. She works tirelessly alongside our other chefs, making hundreds of dumplings by hand so that when we open our doors again, there will be enough for everyone throughout the week. 🥟
And every time you enjoy a slice of our famous Honey Cake, I think of Elena. She is the one patiently baking every single delicate layer, one by one. There is so much time, patience and love behind that cake — just like there is behind everything Elena does.
Elena, I want you to know how much I see you and appreciate you. 🍯🎂
I see your hard work.
I see your kindness.
I see how much you care.
And I see all those little things you do without ever asking for recognition.
You have become such an important part of Alyonka and such a blessing to me and to everyone who works beside you. People like you are the heart of a restaurant — not the sign on the building, not the beautiful plates, but the people who quietly give their time, their hands and their hearts every single day.
On your birthday, I wish you what you so generously give to everyone around you — love, kindness, warmth and happiness. May life be gentle with you. May your home always be filled with laughter, your heart with peace, and may you always know how deeply you are appreciated.
