After a lot of prayer and hard conversations, we want to share an important update with our community.
Holy Grounds will be closing our drive-through location for the summer starting May 22.
We opened our doors three years ago in January with one goal in mind: to be a blessing to this community. Since then, we’ve been honored to pour into Rivercrest through scholarships, support local needs, and serve so many of you day in and day out. That has always been the heart behind what we do.
But we also want to be honest with you.
Over the past two years, it has become increasingly challenging to sustain the shop financially. While we’ve done everything we can to keep going, we’ve reached a point where we need to make a wise decision moving forward.
With our baby due at the beginning of June and my work at Adult & Teen Challenge in Deport, this is the right step for our family in this season.
Our hope and prayer is to reopen when school starts back. But to do that, we will need to make some significant changes to how we operate so that Holy Grounds can continue in a healthy and sustainable way.
This is not goodbye.
We will continue roasting and selling our coffee beans. You’ll still be able to order online for pickup or shipping, and we’re excited to keep growing that side of the business.
Thank you for every cup you’ve bought, every conversation we’ve had, and every way you’ve supported us over the last three years. This community has meant more to us than we can put into words.
We’re trusting God in this next season, and we believe this isn’t the end of the story.
