We specialize in biscotti, cookies, pastries and cakes. We are also a small, quaint little café that serves lunch, beer and wine and the most excellent coffee drinks. Sorry no soy only imported almond milk from Italy. We have wifi and comfy couches. Come visit us and we promise you will feel like you stepped into a little pasticeria (bakery) in Italy.

A New Chapter for Mercato Italiano 🇮🇹

After so many memories, so much hard work, and so many wonderful people who have walked through these doors, it’s time for a new chapter.

I’m very happy to introduce the new owners of Mercato Italiano, Valentina and Kushtrim Kastrati!

From the moment I met them, I knew they had the energy, enthusiasm, and love of Italian food, w**e and hospitality to take Mercato into its next chapter. I’m excited to see the new ideas they bring while continuing to make Mercato a place where people can gather, eat, drink, laugh, and feel at home.

To all of our wonderful customers and friends who supported Mercato over the years — grazie di cuore.

And to Valentina and Kushtrim: I wish you tremendous success, happiness, and many beautiful years ahead.
