The City expects citizens to follow its noise, permit and property rules—but public-meetings and public-records laws are rules too.

In this video, I discuss Greg Smith’s $12,000 ethics settlement, questions about when Boardman decided to require annexation before providing City services, and my request for permit and occupancy records involving the Unity Partners development.

These are legitimate questions—not final findings of wrongdoing. The solution is simple: show the records.
