First decorated cookie class in the books with The Cake Obsession in Columbia, South Carolina!!

They are NOT perfect, not even close, but progress over everything. I came to to learn, and I definitely did that. Katrina is an amazing teacher, super hands-on, and she made it all make sense.

THROWBACK: The first, the last, and the only pillow cake I will ever make. 👑

Throwing it back to the time I accepted the challenge of a royal blue pillow cake for a baby shower. Looking at it now, it’s absolutely stunning! The deep tufting, the tiny gold sugar pearls at every corner, and those hand twisted tassels. It truly looks like it’s fit for a little prince!

But here is the "behind the buttercream" truth: I remember finishing this and telling myself, "That was amazing... and I am never doing it again!" lol!

It definitely made a statement at the shower, and that’s what matters most!
