There are a lot of great things about owning a small business, but one of the best is the friendships you make along the way.

It was so good to see Suzanne Johns Wallace, Terry Long, April Dever, and Kathy Fruchtnicht stop by The Dixie Pig today!

Now here’s a fun fact… Suzanne’s father founded Kream Kastle, and today she and her husband, Jeff, proudly carry on that family tradition.

“But wait… you serve the competition?”

Not at all.

We don’t see other local businesses as competition. We see them as friends, neighbors, and fellow small business owners who work hard every day to make our community a better place. There’s plenty of room for all of us to succeed, and we’re always glad to support the people who support our town.

Happy 18th Birthday to Ben Braswell!

Ben has been a loyal customer since day one, and it’s been a pleasure watching him grow into the young man he is today. We’re excited to see him begin the next chapter at Arkansas Tech, where he’ll be playing golf on scholarship.

Bob is back from his vacation and is in a better but just okay mood. This is probably the best we are going to get so come on in for lunch or dinner. We are open from 11am to 730pm M-F. Come taste the tradition!

Hold onto your pig, folks! 🚤🎣 We're taking a little summer vaca from July 20th to 24th! That's right, The Dixie Pig will be closed that week because Bob's Cranky-O-Meter has hit peak levels, and we all know what that means… it's time for a break! Even the best cooks need a little R&R, and our Pit Master extraordinaire is no exception. So we're packing up the pit and heading to the lake for some much-needed fishing and fun in the sun.

But fear not, dear Pig lovers! Bob will be chopping that pig again on Monday, July 27th at 11 AM. Mark your calendars and join us for a post-vacation feast! Enjoy your week as much as we plan to, and remember - the fish won’t catch themselves! 🎣🐟

I bet the Brits wish they had won so they could have Dixie Pig instead of stodgy pudding, weak tea, and beans for breakfast. But that’s ok, we welcome them to dine with us anytime because it’s life, liberty, and the pursuit of pig sandwiches (happiness is the same thing!) Red, White, and Que!
