🖤 In Memory of Robert Plantadis 🖤
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Robert Plantadis, owner and chef of The Midnight Baker.
Robert was born in Tulle, France on 3/17/1953, and lived a life as bold, passionate, and unforgettable as the pastries he baked. A self-taught chef, a storyteller, a traveler, a dreamer — he left a splash everywhere he went. Whether you came for the croissants, the baguettes, or the conversation, you probably stayed because of him.
Robert loved people, stories, laughter, and being at the center of it all. He lived all over the world, spoke multiple languages, chased big ideas, and never did anything quietly. If you knew him, you have a story.
