Tonight, I was truly humbled by my community. The grace, patience, generosity, kindness and love that was shown tonight made for what was without a doubt, the best night of work I've ever had in my life. We said we would be open from 4 to 8, but served our last customer after 11.

I can not put into words the gratitude I have for all the love and kindness. All we ever wanted to do was provide the community with something unique they could be proud of. I really didn't realize how much we were loved until today.

As most now know, Amy passed away on Sunday. She would have been so happy to see what went on tonight and my first thought was to run home and tell her about it. Rest assured I did, I just didn't have to run home to do it.

To everyone who waited an exceedingly long time, THANK YOU. To those who could not, I'm sorry and thank you for coming out.

We will not be open on Tuesday as we ran out of almost everything by the end of the night.

Again, Amy was the brains, heart and soul of Tyeger's and you honored her in an amazing way. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Tyeger's Pizza will be open for our final dinner services on Monday Dec. 23rd and Tuesday Dec. 24 from 4pm - 8pm (as long as supplies last).

We will be serving Amy's meatloaf pizza: Our personal favorite pizza that we offer (again, while supplies last).

Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of your family for the last 16 years. We look forward to serving you one final time.

I am posting to give you some information about the status Tyeger's Pizza.

The brain, heart and soul of Tyeger's, my wife Amy, suffered a spontaneous brain bleed last Friday night. She has been in the ICU in Ft. Wayne since then. We appreciate the messages of support we have received thus far and are saddened to share that it is a day to day situation with no real good outlook.

Not knowing what the future of Tyeger's holds, we plan to be open on Monday Dec. 23rd and Tuesday Dec. 24th from 4PM to 8PM because we would be honored for the opportunity to serve your family again. We truly love our community and hope we can be a part of your christmas plans.

Please share this information with everyone you can.
This is the very first time I've ever posted on any social media and will probably never do it again.

As I have said every time you've picked up a pizza from us, Thank You.
