Yesterday, the world lost an icon, and here at Squat ’N’ Gobble, we’re remembering Dolly Parton’s special visit to our Bluffton restaurant in 2004. 💗

She asked us to create something special, and that’s how Grits on a Shingle was born: a biscuit topped with sausage patties, creamy stone-ground grits ’N’ cheddar cheese. It became a permanent part of our menu, and today, we’re putting it on special in her honor.

Every serving carries a piece of a memory we’ll always treasure. Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the memories and for leaving a little piece of yourself with us. Rest easy. 💗

Look who stopped by Squat ’N’ Gobble today!
The Reluctant Foodie joined me and Mom for a visit and came hungry! He tried our Gyro, Sloppy Joe, and of course, our famous Cinnamon Roll.

Aidan had a BIG day at work today! ❤️

The excitement started when a whole crew of vintage Volkswagens from HHWHEELS rolled into the parking lot — Aidan thought that was pretty awesome! 🚐 Then, just when he thought his day couldn’t get any better, his favorite Ms. Helen surprised him with a visit!

Cool cars, special friends, and lots of smiles… just another great day at Squat ’N’ Gobble!
