I can’t believe I have to now for the 2nd time say this. The truck and the owner busted for dealing drugs and buying illegal fish IS NOT ME! IT IS NOT THE BIG DOG TACO TRUCK!
The last time he was busted for shady acts, illegal acts, a lot of people jumped on me for saying he should have known better. Someone even decide that they’d go on Yelp and use a review that happened many years ago in a restaurant in Connecticut as fire against me. They were trying to shame me for the ill gotten gains and illegal actions of one of their friends. Ok, I get it. You’re trying to protect a Buddy or family member. The first time something happened, He was found to have done wrong and had a hefty fine levied against him. Well, here we are again! This time it’s a lot more serious. And it is again hampering my personal business. I have had no less than 5 people/ communities call ask or leave a text wondering if this was me. I felt compelled to call or answer back that it is NOT!
All of us in the food Truck Business knows how hard it was to get acceptance from the Town and Business Owners. Now we have some Fool messing that up and giving the Truck Community a black eye. It’s a tough enough business to start with. We don’t need this kind of behavior to hurt or slow us down.
Now, I’m sure I’ll catch flack for saying something, and I’m sure I’ll stand by my words. Put yourself in the position of the others that could possibly be hurt due to the actions of ONE PERSON THAT IS DOING ILLEGAL DEEDS. How would you feel if through No actions of your own, your business is questioned and you’re being peppered with calls. Just because of one Bad Egg. It Should not be like this. And I won’t sit back snd not speak or say to anybody, you made your bed. Now you’re going to have to sleep in it.
Again, The truck and the Owner that were recently busted on Federal Drug Charges, WAS NOT THE BIG DOG TACO TRUCK!!
I have way too much respect for my chosen career of which I’ve spent 30+ years in worked around the world with some of the best Chefs in the World and in some of the Best restaurants in the world. I don’t take thst lightly.
