❤️ For nearly three decades, Sandy’s has been about more than what we put on the plate. From the beginning, Sandy Scalf believed everyone deserved a seat at the table, and truly serving a community meant caring for the people within it.
THE HOT ONE is one of the many ways her legacy continues: one person quietly providing a meal for another, no questions asked. 😶
Over the years, thousands of meals have left our kitchen for people who needed them. Some of those same individuals later returned to volunteer, hoping to extend the kindness they once received to someone else. Few things have been more meaningful than witnessing those full-circle moments.
Today, the same spirit lives on through Bobby Hines and the You Matter Movement, expanding our ability to reach families and provide support extending far beyond a meal. 🙏
None of this would be possible without a community whose support has allowed Sandy’s to give back in return.
Nearly 30 years later, we’re still here. Still locally owned. Still feeding our neighbors. And still incredibly grateful each time you choose our family-owned restaurant. ❤️
Here’s to carrying Sandy’s legacy forward, growing the You Matter Movement, and remembering how profoundly something as simple as a hot meal can matter. 🫶
