For those who may not know, we're born-and-raised locals who have been blessed to live out our dream of owning a small country-style restaurant where everyone who walks through the door feels like family.

When we're not at Pete's Place, you'll usually find us cheering from the sidelines somewhere. Our three amazing children stay involved in just about everything possible, and we wouldn't have it any other way! They keep us busy, but they also keep our hearts full.

If you've noticed Brent and I have been a little scarce over the last couple of weeks, don't worry—we've been spending our time chasing kids to summer sports camps, practices, and games. These years go by way too fast, and we're soaking up every minute. We are super thankful for a staff that keeps things running smoothly on the days we are away🙂

We're especially proud to share that our youngest son and his baseball team recently competed in Districts and brought home the Championship Title!

⚾🏆 Next week, they will travel to Bulloch County to compete in the State Championship, and we couldn't be more excited for them.

This Saturday, some of those hard-working young ballplayers will be helping out around the restaurant—bussing tables and seating people! To support their trip, Pete's Place will be donating a portion of Saturday's proceeds to help the team with travel expenses as they head to State.

If you're one of our wonderful regulars, we hope you'll continue supporting local and stop by Saturday. If you've never visited us before, this is the perfect time to come give us a try while helping a great group of kids⚾️
