Hey Friends,

I’m sorry to report that DD’s Hibachi will not be back this evening, the prep is really extensive and they want to make sure you guys have the best hibachi possible!

We will have them back in August and will keep you updated on the date and will be sure to have it in the evening so those who have been out of town for work all day can get some goods!

SOS DD’s Hibachi has sold out!!!

Blue Mound showed up in a big way for the hibachi truck and they are so grateful! They have to take off to restock, but are trying to come back!

I showed up at Grandma Sally’s place yesterday to find her eating dinner with her bestie- Marge. They have a standard dinner date every Monday evening and because I know this I knew it was a good day to crash it.

Here’s the following conversations according to my recollections:

🍿 Grandma would like me to remind everyone that the caramel corn recipe is HER RECIPE and that even though she can’t taste it- she knows it’s the best.

🍿 I asked her if she thought Lindsay Graham would have an open closet funeral to which both her and Marge started cracking up- But Grandma heartily insisted he walked the straight line - if you know what I mean lol.

🍿 Grandma then proceeded to fuss at Marge and I so we encouraged her to be a little nicer and maybe she could find some better friends than just Marge and I. She then informed us she does not want any more friends so naturally I told her to quit fussing then and be grateful she has any companions with how dang mean she is. She only cackled.

We laughed, we enjoyed each others company, we let the kids wrangle the dogs. All this to say she’s healthy and happy and will not be getting any friendlier.
