The Fall, with all its color, brings festivals celebrating the harvest- including our famous Wine Dinner, as well as all those gorgeous fall fruits and vegetables for sons/chefs Tim and Andrew Hikade to experiment with. In the heart of winter enjoy a cozy night dining by one of our fireplaces, it is the height of scallop season and Christmas Eve, New Years, and Valentines Day all have extra special menus that are not to be missed! With spring comes the hope of warmer days, fiddle heads, early strawberries and tender spring greens- enjoy some cabin fever relief with dinner out with friends. During the month of July we will donate a portion of the proceeds from every Lemon Mousse Napoleon we serve. As if you needed *another* reason to indulge!

One of the best compliments we get is how fabulous our vegetables are. Often people say, with amazement, "They are clearly not an afterthought!"

For us, everything that goes on the plate is given full attention--from the typical star of the show (it's not called the main course for nothing) to the garnish we hand-pick from our gardens just before service.

For some of our patrons a sure sign of Spring is the the debut of halibut on our menu; for our staff it might be the fragrant carpet of white and purple violets on the back lawn as we come in to work. And then, for lucky visitors and passersby alike, it is the hopeful and humorous bloom of our Dutchman's Pipe! Wonder why it has the name? Look closely!
