At one time, he was the owner of four restaurants, one of them, Mr. Ron's Public House, right here in Blue Bell. When he decided to get out of the restaurant business, the public clamored for his famous coleslaw. Ron's Famous Gourmet Coleslaw was founded in 1990. Ron's at all Acme supermarkets, as well as many fine delis. He has recently added a Mr. Ron's Famous Gourmet Rice Pudding.
