The rain evokes a sense of peacefulness as I start the day. I love the peonies and bright lilies that add a pop of color throughout the restaurant especially on these cloudy days. A couple of limited items this weekend compared to normal. Corn surinagashi is back as well as HOTARU IKA. Desserts are fantastic this weekend. For those who love butter pecan, you have to stop by! We hope to see you all very soon and GANBATE everyone. Take care.

Busy week! Working on some short term and long term dishes(atleast will take a while to be completed). Corn surinagashi is back! And working on butter pecan ice cream and homemade umeboshi! We also have one of the best honmaguro(Bluefin tuna) that I have had in a while. Try the chutoro (medium fatty) part and you will not be disappointed! Take care minasama! japaneserestaurant

Ando Customers,

We will be closed on the 4th of July in observance of Independence Day.

The restaurant will also be closed from Tuesday, July 7th to Tuesday, July 14th. Starting Wednesday, July 15th, we'll resume our regular hours, bringing you the same great food and service you've come to expect. I am a big fan of the Tamago Kake Gohan (TKG for short). It is an umami explosion with various textures and flavors, so I am excited to share another egg dish called onsen tamago (called this because the eggs were slowly cooked in hot onsen water). They are still jiggly with a runny center. We are serving these free range,organic eggs cold, with a light dashi stock, and grated daikon radish ( also available with uni or ikura!).

It is Mother's Day weekend and we have a wide array of desserts for all those moms out there dining with us! And lastly, a thank you to my mom (Keiko Ando) for being Superwoman! Owning a business, taking care of kids and house is not an easy task. Take care everyone! GANBATE!
