A big thank you to Derek Lamb at King’s Sports & Awards for choosing Weezy’s to provide an extra special pregame afternoon meal (our 6-oz sirloin meal) to Coach Herb Smith and the Prairiland Patriots football team before their district contest against Lone Oak.

We know it’s easy to get on line and order gloves or bats or soccer equipment, but remember the locally-owned businesses that support all of our area schools and athletes. Derek is a native of the area and a product of one of our local high schools (Paris High). And Kings Sports has always been there for our youth thru high school programs.

*Coach Tony Sanders sent the before and after photos of the meal with the comment “best pregame meal I’ve had in a while.”

Weezy’s favorites you’ve loved for more than 20 years…our fried catfish plate, the chicken fried steak that’s been voted “Best Chicken Fried Steak” a dozen times or more, and our signature Weezy burger and famous Cheezy Weezy, a real-beef burger that’s getting harder and harder to find.

Choose your favorite, if that’s even possible. And finish it off with one of Mrs Weezy’s homemade pies.

Mondays are all about the Cheezy Weezy and hand—cut, hand-battered onion rings.

But be sure to mark TUESDAY on your lunch schedule this week. Now that the weather is cooler, we are firing up the flame grill for our 6oz sirloin lunch special. Comes with two sides (or a baked potato while they last) and toast for JUST $9.99….yes, a steak and baked potato for under 10 bucks. Tomorrow at Weezy’s 10:30-2:30.
