Mother Bear’s Pizza was started in March 1973 by Ray McConn and Bruce Storm as an adjunct to their first business, Bear’s Place. People Magazine quickly selected Mother Bear’s as “one of America’s top nine pizzas” and business literally doubled overnight. Ever since we have been consistently named the Best Pizza in Bloomington by the Indiana Daily Student Poll, twice earned Final Four status at th

e International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas, and have been named “Best Pizza in Indiana” by USA Today. To handle the booming success, Mother Bear's Pizza West was opened in December 2016. Now with two great locations, we hope this will help us better serve the entire community of Bloomington, Indiana. We are best-known for our traditional pan pizza, but also offer sesame-seed thin crust and deep-dish options. Not in the mood for pizza? We also offer crisp salads, hot sub sandwiches, wings, and pasta dishes. To complete your meal, try one of our warm, homemade brownies. We also serve beer and wine with many selections from local breweries. Whether you're new to Bloomington or just stopping for a visit, please stop by to enjoy what we have to offer!

All 3 Mother Bear’s Pizza locations will be opening at 4PM today (Tuesday January 27th). We’re starting from square one after the snow days. The team needs a little extra time to make our homemade dough, breadsticks, and sauces. See you tonight!
