It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of our closing this weekend.
It’s no surprise to that the ongoing inflation and rising prices of goods has affected most of us, but restaurants moreover, on a national level have been struggling to keep up with the demands of staying relevant while still trying to keep the lights on. After fighting this new reality on a daily basis for the last few years, we have decided to close our doors.
The last 7 years have been nothing short of spectacular, innovating an entire new concept Bloomington had never seen before in the brunch scene, and making a small dent in our community’s culinary scene while putting our extensive experiences to use, was our favorite part of working together to create Bedräk Cafe and everything it stands for.
Our family is thankful to our loyal guests for choosing us over the years and “getting” our concept when others wouldn’t; and to our amazing team for your dedication, hard work and commitment in making Bedräk your own. To our vendors, local partners, our families and the friendships we forged along the way, believe us when we say, we couldn’t have done it without you!
