One last evening of Oktoberfest on Kirkwood! 🍻

Last night was the first night of Oktoberfest, and it had the feeling we hope for every year: friends lingering over dinner, plates of schnitzel and potato cakes arriving at the table, pints of Oktoberfest L***r, and a little extra time to sit together on Kirkwood. 🍂🍻

We get to do it again tonight. Come find a seat inside or on the patio, bring someone you’d like to catch up with, and let us make dinner for you. A little taste of Germany, right here in Bloomington.

OKTOBERFEST ON KIRKWOOD IS BACK! 🍻🇩🇪

One of our favorite traditions starts tonight, join us for all the classics:

🥔 House-made Kartoffelpuffer with spiced apples and sour cream
🍄 Jägerschnitzel with bacon, mushroom and onion gravy
🌭 Wurstplatte with bratwurst and knackwurst from Butcher’s Block
🌱 A veggie Wurstplatte with Beyond Meat brats
🐟 Pan-seared salmon with lemon butter, capers and parsley

Save room for Mein Mutter’s Apfelkuchen, a spiced apple cake with streusel and local vanilla bean ice cream from The Chocolate Moose. And, of course, we’re pouring Bloomington Brewing Company’s Oktoberfest L***r. 🍺

Good morning, Bloomington! 💙

We’re aware of the precautionary boil water advisory currently in effect for Monroe County, and Lennie’s will be OPEN our normal business hours today.

Our team is taking extra precautions to keep everyone safe. While the advisory is in effect:

💧 We’re using bottled water for our guests and food-service needs as appropriate
🧊 We are not using ice made from the affected water supply
🥤 Fountain beverages and other drinks that rely on tap water will be temporarily unavailable
🥫 We will have canned sodas available
☕ We’re adjusting beverage service as needed to ensure everything we serve is safe
🧼 Our kitchen and staff are following the appropriate food-safety procedures throughout the advisory

Some of our usual beverage options may look a little different today, but the food is cooking, the doors are open, and we’d love to see you.
