After a much needed break, we are going to try to reopen the Village Deli on Friday September 17th, but we need your help! Although we have some of your favorite staff members back, we need more people to provide you with the food and service you have come to love. So how can you help? Share this post!Spread the word that we are hiring. If we hire a person you referred we will give you a $25.00 gift card after their 30th day (be sure to have them complete the referred by section on the application that they can find at www.villagedeli.biz. )
Until further notice we will be doing online orders only on Fridays and full table service with very limited seating on Saturdays and Sundays! Thanks for your continued support and hope to see you soon.

I would like to share the news that the Village Deli will be temporarily closed until September 1. It is time for all of us to sit back, rest, recover, get healthy and think about our future. Thank you to every member of our team. And thank you to all of our wonderful customers who have supported us in so many ways this past sixteen months.

Good morning and Happy Fathers Day to you Dads out there. Due to the flooding on Kirkwood Avenue, the Village Deli will be closed until further notice. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. Please support the other local businesses in the Kirkwood area that will be open today...Bloomington Bagel Company, Five Guys, Soma Kirkwood, Laughing Planet, Farm, and Uptown Cafe The Costello's and our outstanding team want to thank everyone who came and helped us yesterday thru your words or actions.....your kindness and consideration is what will help us survive, revive and hopefullly even thrive. We will post daily updates....special shout out to Cardinal Spirits for your generosity to the Kirkwood community!
