Fable is THE rooster at the Goat Conspiracy Sanctuary🐓

He walks the perimeter, greeting guests and taking care of his flock. If treats are delivered, he calls out to his friends and steps back to let them eat first - such a sweetheart!💗

This weekend, take a moment, soak up the sun & grab some savory or sweet plant-powered eats! 🌱🌞

Tomorrow, Thursday August 27th at Showwalter Fountain the truck will be at the IU Student Involvement Fair from 4-7pm. With over 400 student organizations, campus resources and local community partners, explore what inspires you and find whwre you belong! ✨

We will not be at Food Truck Friday this week, but come out to Switchyard on Saturday, August 29th from 3pm-10pm for Granfalloon! Enjoy the live music, relax in the sun and eat Planted all day & night ☀️⭐️

And on Sunday, August 30th from 6-8pm we're back at Switchyard Park for Bloomington Symphony Orchestra's end of season concert!! Food, music and fun... the perfect harmony (& Sunday evening)🎶

In conceptualizing the space, we wanted to create warm, cozy, playful home vibes rather than the vibe of a fancy restaurant. The original idea we presented to our designer friend was a warm cozy New York City apartment (a refuge from the busyness) on a rainy day as presented in a children's book. We settled on a terracotta/peach as our base color, with pops of blues and other colorful accents throughout.

On a blustery day when you don't want to be outside or stay in your home, we want you to feel welcome at Planted, trying one of Chef Leah's cake creations with a cup of tea, enjoying a relaxing lunch with a friend, or even just spending a moment to grab something to go.

And, of course the food we are planning is going to be amazing ❤️🌱

In getting the restaurant ready, we are upcycling leftover wood we found at Small Favors and Restore and lumber from our local Hoosier Reclaimed Timber (check them out!). Hoosier Reclaimed Timber 🪾🪵

Using reclaimed wood is an eco-friendly, low emission and unique way to spruce up your restoration needs. Plus no new trees need to be cut down!♻️🌳

Bring your favorite plant-based dish, try others and share conversations and positive vibes!
