1996 – Tom and Rita purchased Deli Supreme in Bloomington, Minnesota, while establishing their roots in the local community. Deli Supreme was reinvented and they offered fresh sandwiches with a Greek twist. In addition to the storefront, Greek Taste, their concession business, also set up booths at local fairs and festivals. In those early years, the Contolatis family worked hard to get to know each and every customer and build what they hoped was a long-lasting friendship. Together, the family built the business to the point where it could no longer meet the growing demand in its 900-square-foot space.
