✨Hey Valued Guests, Family & Followers,
We have some bittersweet news. We recently sold Cafe Chameleon to someone who is going to make some wonderful changes to the location and we couldn’t be more excited for him!
I can’t thank you all enough for the positive feedback, confidence and the ability to do what I did for 5 1/2 years. If not for your support, we couldn’t have accomplished so much in such little time. I am forever grateful for the connections and friendships that have formed over these past years. I couldn’t thank my staff enough for all of their help, support and loyalty. The restaurant has taught me so much about business, the ability to adapt and change, that nothing should ever be taken for granted and the ability to take on every and any role needed to succeed. I gained extensive knowledge of food, wines, spirits, beer, cocktails and the history behind it. I am so thankful to all of you! Over the next few weeks we will be searching high and low for the perfect location for our needs. We are so excited for this next chapter in our lives. Please keep following us as we have something incredibly special brewing and can’t wait to welcome you to our next home very soon ❤️ it’s not goodbye, it’s see you soon! ☀️✨

A throwback to when we were reviewed by The Records very own Esther Davidowitz (Thank you) . So much has changed since this article was written and we made it through so much adversity. It was a bumpy last year with a few different chefs but If you are a fan of Chef Bryan Gregg, you will also be blown away with our new chef Sam Stymest. He is very well known in the Montclair area for starting up Sam’s Table ( a private dinner club, exclusive to farm to table tastings ) during the pandemic. He gained extensive knowledge from his days working at Jean-Georges, Craft, Google, Warner Brothers and working on the Cape. He has since turned Cafe Chameleon into his very own home. Showcasing his vast array of styles, techniques, flavors and overall skill set behind the fire. We currently offer an extremely unique experience, changing our food,wine, and whiskey pairings weekly to keep everyone on their toes! We are so excited to have such an incredibly talented and kind chef with so many mind blowing concepts. If you haven’t been here in a while, we think you’re going to fall in love with the food and of course Chef Sam! Come experience a Michelin star chef in the tiny town of Bloomingdale.

Wednesday and Thursday we will be open for tasting menus only. Reservation is required with seatings at 630 and 8pm.

We are very excited to bring a whole new style of dining to the area.
