It is with great heart break and sadness that we announce, TODAY WILL BE OUR LAST DAY AT Feed Store Beer Co.

Josh and I have had many long talk about how this pandemic had taken it's toll on our small business and whether or not we can continue. For now, we are conceding to the fact that it is too much to try and maintain.

We are pained to say that the geeky grub will be another unfortunate casualty of this pandemic. However, this is not goodbye. It's more of a see you later.

We Will Be Back!

Maybe not in the same way, though.

For now, come hangout and help us celebrate our last two years with you all while grill out one last time!

Our Origins Story

How does one go about opening up a restaurant in a little town that doesn’t have a lot to offer? Why, you fall into it head first, of course!

Chef Josh has been in and out of food service for about 25 years. He got his start in Pittsboro, IN at one of the most famous catfish joints in the state, Frank and Mary’s. Dishes, potatoes, bus boy; you know, all of the s**t jobs you have to do to put in your dues and work your way up. Mostly he learned how to duck a potato that came flying at his head. LOL.

After that, he bounced between food service and other miscellaneous jobs for a few years. Construction, Temp work, retail, warehouse; but always somehow found his way back into food service. This went on for some time, before finally deciding to try and make a go of it and heading into culinary school at The Chef’s Academy in Indianapolis.

While there, he gained experience in all things yummy. Sushi, pizza, pasta, burgers; you name it, I got to eat it. His externiship was something that very few got to experience. He was accepted into the 5 star resort in South Carolina called Kiawa Island Resort. This was the place where kings and princes, politicians and presidents, and corporate American moguls went to pay outrageous prices for tiny, immaculately plated food.
