There’s something beautiful about a life spent reminding us to love a little bigger, give a little more, and make room for everyone.
As we grieve the loss of Dolly Parton, we’re also celebrating the spirit she shared so generously with the world — love, kindness, acceptance, generosity, and caring for one another. ❤️
With that spirit in mind it’s the perfect time to announce something special at The Hive:
☕️🐝 THE SHARE A CUP PROGRAM 🐝☕️
The idea is simple: buy a cup for someone you don’t know.
You can pre-purchase a 16 oz drink and simply write down the category of person you’d like to share it with on the paper scroll hanging by check out.
Maybe it’s:
A mom who could use a little kindness.
A firefighter coming off a long shift.
A dad doing his best.
A teacher, nurse, neighbor, sister, brother, or stranger.
Someone going through a difficult season.
Someone celebrating a little victory.
Or simply someone who needs a reminder that their community cares.
When someone comes in and identifies themselves as fitting one of the categories, they can simply step up to the counter and say, “I’d like to use a Share a Cup.” We’ll cross that cup off and send a little kindness their way. 💛
No names. No questions.
Just one person saying to another:
“I see you. You matter. This one’s for you.”
Because sometimes a cup of coffee is more than coffee.
It’s connection. It’s kindness. It’s community.
