Our Story
Back in the early 60’s, the Oxbow Cafe was built on the main Highway towards Washington. Before freeways, the Oxbow was a happening place! Open 24 hours a day, it would have people from all over coming in for a delicious meal and a piece of that “Mile High Pie”.
Fast forward several years and several owners and here we are. We wanted to turn the Oxbow back into the amazing place it once was. It has taken some time, but we are close to being there. We pride ourselves on having great, scratch made food and an excellent staff. We are well known for our Hamburgers, made from our own blend of goodies, our Mac-N-Cheese, that is creamy, cheesy heaven and our Vanilla Custard French Toast. You probably have never tasted anything like it. Although we don’t have all of the “Mile High Pie” recipes, we do have some and we make several of our own pies.
