To each and every one of our valued customers.....

The time has come to pass the torch.....

My beloved husband James (Pedro) built this restaurant in 2011. He started small and expanded as needed. So much Blood, Sweat and Tears were poured into this cafe. So many sleepless nights! But we wouldn't have traded it for anything in the World! James loved this community and he had a heart of gold! There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for you, all you had to do was ask. He never ever wanted anyone to leave his restaurant hungry!

When he passed away on July 3, 2019, he took a large piece of my heart with him! Not one day goes by that I don't think about or talk to him. He was the heart of this Cafe. We have been blessed with some of the most incredibly supportive and hard working employees throughout the years and we appreciate all of you!

The torch has been passed to Mr. Steve Burke and I feel in my heart that this is the best decision! He is committed to carry on Pedro's honor. He has a lot of exciting plans for all of you and I couldn't be prouder of the decision of new ownership!

I love and appreciate each and every one of our customers and employees throughout the years! It's been a blessing to serve you!!

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Paul Henson ❤️ He was so much more than Margie’s daddy, Mary Lou’s Husband, and Adrain’s grandfather…. He was a beloved member of our family and a constant presence here at the Hornet Hut. He ALWAYS had a smile and a kind word and never hesitated to help whenever necessary. He will be missed dearly here and in our hearts! Y’all say a prayer for Margie, Mary Lou, Adrain, and the rest of the family as they navigate through this time 🙏❤️ we will be open normal hours this week except for the funeral. We will keep you updated here for the arrangements. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your patience and understanding. We love and appreciate each and every one of you!! 😘❤️

It is with great sadness in our hearts that one of our Family members has passed this morning☹️ we will close at 10:00 Today and We will open at 6 in the morning. Please keep Margie and her family in your prayers! 🙏❤️
