If you’ve spent any time at The Rail Trail, chances are you know Kathy Marrone.
Kathy has been a dedicated member of the Rail Trail family since we first opened our doors. She keeps us on our toes, chats up the crowd like no other, and takes so much pride in our café that people often mistake her for the owner! We’ve dubbed her our “Rail Trail Ambassador,” and we truly wouldn’t be the same without her.
Now, Kathy and her family need their community behind them.
Kathy’s son, Rob Marrone, has been diagnosed with late-stage colon cancer and is currently unable to work. As Rob and his family face the difficult and unexpected challenges ahead, we want to do what our community does best—come together and help any way we can.
To raise funds for Rob, The Rail Trail Café & Mercantile is raffling off a COMPLETE THANKSGIVING FEAST for 6–8 people! We’re talking the whole nine—from appetizers and all the Thanksgiving favorites to dessert and pies. We’ll do the cooking so one lucky family can simply sit down, give thanks, and enjoy. 🦃🥧
Tickets are $25 each, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Rob to help with everyday living expenses, medical costs, and bills while he is unable to work.
The winner will be drawn on Halloween, October 31. 🎃
The Thanksgiving Feast will be ready for pick-up the day before Thanksgiving 🦃.
